It started with alterations

Sajhvi began as a small tailoring counter — fixing hems, refitting blouses, turning hand-me-downs into something that actually fit. Every conversation was the same: women loved a design but couldn’t find their size in it, or found their size but not the design.

That gap became the brand. Sajhvi now designs ready-to-wear ethnic and western collections in-house, while keeping the tailoring counter that started it all — so anyone can still walk in and have something made exactly to their body, not the nearest size on a rack.

Every collection is still reviewed by the same eye that used to take in a hundred blouses a week: does it fit properly, does it hold up to wear, would we alter this for a client if they asked.
